As a trans girl, I’m often afraid of what people might think of me. I’m tired of the stereotypes and prejudices, and I want to show that trans people can do so much more. That’s why I’m going to create songs to teach my language (Spanish). I want the world to know that I can contribute something positive and hopeful. Through my songs, I won’t just be teaching a language; I’ll be sharing my culture, my experiences, and my reality.
But my dream goes even further. I’d love for more trans and queer people to join in, sharing their own languages. We are a multicultural community, aren’t we? I believe we are capable of anything, and that we can fight not only against transphobia but also against racism and other prejudices. But this project is open to any dreamer who wants to show their own culture and reality. I’m going to create open and collaborative technology so that anyone can do it. I don't expect anyone to join immediately, but I’ll keep dreaming while I create my first songs.
